Description

At Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) we provide mental health and learning disability care for people across Norfolk and Suffolk. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to deliver safer, kinder, better care. With over 5,000 dedicated staff, we are committed to improving health outcomes, enhancing patient experience, and fostering a culture of compassion and innovation.

Digital transformation is at the heart of modern healthcare, and at NSFT we see technology not just as a tool, but as a catalyst for better care, improved access, and smarter ways of working. We are seeking a visionary Non-Executive Director to lead our digital agenda, ensuring that innovation translates into tangible benefits for service users, families, and staff.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of mental health services across Norfolk and Suffolk. As a member of our Board, you will bring insight and challenge to our digital strategy, helping us harness technology to improve patient safety, experience, and outcomes. You will champion innovation and cultural change, ensuring that digital adoption is inclusive and enhances workforce capability. Your expertise will guide us in making strategic decisions about digital investments and transformation programmes, translating technical concepts into practical solutions that deliver real-world impact.

We are looking for an inclusive and forward-thinking leader with significant experience in digital transformation, ideally at Board or senior executive level. You will have a track record of driving innovation and embedding technology in complex, regulated environments, combined with strong governance skills and sound judgement. Above all, you will share our passion for mental health and our commitment to improving lives through technology.

We welcome candidates from diverse backgrounds and encourage applications from those with lived experience of mental health, disability, or from under-represented communities. If you share our ambition and have the expertise to lead our digital future, we would love to hear from you.
